June is here, which means it's time to look back at another wonderful QuiltInk Challenge.
This past month, we explored the Apothecary palette by Alderwood Studio, inspired by Amber's beautiful new fabric collection. With its rich earthy tones, soft florals, and vintage-inspired colors, Apothecary invited quilters to experiment with subtle color combinations and discover new possibilities for their quilt designs. And you did not disappoint!
We received more than 100 entries for the giveaway, and it was a joy to see so many different interpretations of the palette across a wide variety of quilt patterns. From bold contrasts to softer, tonal approaches, every quilt mock-up brought something unique to the challenge.
As always, the creativity shared on the QuiltInk Wall was inspiring, and a reminder of how powerful color can be in transforming a quilt design.
And now, it's time to announce the winner:
🎉 SunnyMaker
Congratulations! 💛
SunnyMaker's mock-up of Cruce by Kelli Fox Designs was randomly selected as the winning entry and will receive an Apothecary Fat Quarter Bundle, generously sponsored by Amber of Alderwood Studio.
We'll be in touch by email very soon with all the details.
The Apothecary collection has been a favorite from the moment it was released, and this Fat Quarter Bundle is a beautiful way to bring those rich, layered colors from the screen to the sewing room. A huge thank you to Amber for sponsoring this month's prize and helping make the challenge even more special.
To everyone who participated, thank you for being part of the QuiltInk community. Every mock-up shared on the Wall helps inspire other quilters, encourages creative exploration, and shows just how many possibilities exist within a single quilt color palette.
If you haven't explored all the entries yet, head over to the Wall and filter by Past Challenges. You'll find plenty of quilting inspiration, creative color combinations, and beautiful quilt mock-ups waiting for you.
And if you're ready for the next challenge, stay tuned. A new palette and a new opportunity to play with color are coming very soon.
Happy coloring! 💛
