Looking for a patchwork project to decorate your home for the celebrations coming up? 🎀
Double Darling by Sandy of @thaicharmllc is out today, and the idea is as simple as it is fun: make one bow for each celebration. A pink and red checkered one for Valentine’s, a black cat one for Halloween, a soft pastel and gingham one for spring, and as many more as you have occasions to celebrate.
The pattern is a small patchwork bow layered over a large fabric bow, held together by a removable center tab. Both bows are double-sided, so when you want a fresh look you just untie, switch sides and put it back together. You can coordinate two palettes in one bow, or make several versions and mix and match them as the seasons go by.
It finishes at about 22" x 32", it’s fat quarter friendly and rated advanced beginner, with step-by-step instructions and diagrams. Add a ribbon, a twine loop or a curtain ring, and it’s ready to hang on a door, a wall or a wreath.
It’s release day, so go get your copy of the pattern from Sandy and start planning your first bow on QuiltInk 🎀
