This is Holly Beary by Lisa of @shadowvalleyquilts, sewn by Debbie of @soda.pop.quilts, and seeing them side by side still gets me every time. Same golden yellows, same warm browns, same soft cream, and the quilt came out exactly the way it looked on the screen.
That’s the part I love about quilt color planning. You get to test your palette, move colors around, see what happens before you cut into fabric you love. And then the finished quilt turns out just like you imagined it.
Debbie went with a sunny yellow version instead of the usual Christmas colors, which Lisa always says works beautifully with this design, and she was so right.
