The 2026 Sweater Weather Sampler by the Nine Patch Quilt Collective starts today, and it’s already on QuiltInk waiting for you to color. Nine original autumn blocks by nine designers, one arriving each week, coming together into a 60” square throw with traditional piecing, improv and plenty of technique along the way.
We’ve gathered 112 mock-ups in this post because that’s the quickest way to see what this sampler can become. Warm and rusty, soft and muted, dark and moody, same nine blocks every time and yet each one feels like a completely different quilt.
And here’s a little game for you. This sampler also works with our new block rearrange feature, so a few of these mock-ups have the blocks in a completely different order. Can you spot them?
